Services offered
Grounded Roots offers psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, and families. Sessions are tailored to your needs and may incorporate EMDR, emotion focused, somatic therapy, or attachment-based approaches.
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual therapy offers a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. Together, we’ll work to understand patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change so you can feel more grounded, confident, and connected in your daily life.
EMDR
EMDR is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess difficult or traumatic experiences so they no longer feel as overwhelming. By gently engaging both the mind and body, EMDR allows you to heal from the past and move forward with a greater sense of calm and resilience.
Attachment Based Therapy
Attachment-based therapy focuses on the ways our earliest relationships shape how we connect with ourselves and others today. In this work, we explore patterns of trust, closeness, and security, helping you heal old wounds and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Somatic Therapy
Somatic therapy brings the body into the healing process, recognizing that stress and trauma often live not just in our minds but also in our bodies. By increasing awareness of physical sensations and using gentle techniques, somatic therapy helps release stored tension and restore a greater sense of balance and calm.
Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)
EFT is designed to help couples and families create stronger, healthier emotional bonds. By uncovering patterns of conflict and disconnection, EFT supports partners in building trust, deepening intimacy, and improving communication so relationships can feel more secure and fulfilling.
Parent Child Interactional Therapy (PCIT)
PCIT is a research-based approach that strengthens the bond between caregivers and children. Through live coaching and practical tools, parents learn strategies to manage challenging behaviors, increase positive connection, and build a more supportive and nurturing relationship with their child.
Child Parent Psychotherapy
CPP is a relationship-based approach designed to support young children and their caregivers, especially when there has been stress, trauma, or major life changes. Together, we focus on strengthening the parent-child bond, creating a sense of safety, and helping children make sense of their experiences. This therapy nurtures healing, resilience, and connection for both child and caregiver.

Good Faith Estimate Notice: You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
